A tree is more than roots and leaves—it’s tomorrow’s cleaner air, a child’s greener playground, and a community’s hope for resilience.

Why this Initiative?

With tree cover rapidly declining, this initiative addresses urgent environmental challenges such as poor air quality and biodiversity loss. Trees improve soil health, act as carbon sinks, and help restore ecosystem balance—supporting long-term climate resilience.
By establishing environmental clubs and training students, the program fosters eco-consciousness among young people. It builds future leaders who value sustainability and are equipped to protect natural resources.
Innovative ideas like “tree birthday celebrations” encourage families and local communities to take ownership of planted trees, promoting stewardship and a shared responsibility for environmental health.
The project indirectly boosts agriculture, health, and green job creation. A healthier environment supports better livelihoods, creating a foundation for economic growth that goes hand-in-hand with sustainability.

Progress

Within just two months, we've planted over 1,000 trees in two schools Obambo Primary School & Uradi Primary School, with overwhelming support. Many more schools have shown interest, highlighting the initiative’s scalability and community appeal.
