Ms. Kezia Wandera is a seasoned education expert with over 33 years of experience in Kenya’s education sector, with a specialization in quality assurance, curriculum reform, policy development, and project management. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Research and Evaluation, alongside additional credentials in educational leadership and policy.
She has served in several strategic roles, including 16 years as a Quality Assurance and Standards Officer at the Ministry of Education, and as the Head of Policy and Programmes at the State Department for Curriculum Reforms. Currently, she contributes her expertise at the National Council for Nomadic Education in Kenya (NACONEK) as the Director of Technical Programmes & Projects. Ms. Wandera has led major national projects such as SEQIP and KPEEL, and worked closely with KICD, KNEC, TSC, and CEMASTEA. Her leadership reflects a strong commitment to educational transformation and equity across Kenya.
